    Is she hot??

  2. Chris Says:
    September 6th, 2007 at 10:08 am

    She is. She’s drop-dead gorgeous.

I think we all can happily ask the rhetorical question: “David who? Bianca who?”

Wade must be fuming that the whole Boston TV News universe didn’t just grind to a halt because he’s sitting on some bench somewhere waiting for a coach to let him play.

Marky, You made a good point. I was going to post a comment to see if the News Director Jeff Kiernan was single or not. Maybe Michael could give us a deeper scoop if they have attachments. Alot of singles here in New England area.

    September 6th, 2007 at 10:59 am

I didn’t ask if Jeff Kiernan was hot…:) Yes Chris you’re right…just saw a pic.

Here is a picture of her if you did not catch her last night. I personally do not judge people on appearances, at least on this blog, so you will have to draw your own conclusions :)

Michael~ She is pretty, but I am a straight women myself. Even a few nights ago when I saw Paul Muller on WMUR I saw that ring on him. I sighed :(

  7. Chris Says:
    September 6th, 2007 at 4:59 pm

These days, men take off their rings to ward women AWAY! Sheesh…not like the old days when it worked in reverse.

    Tuddy,

Hate to break it to ya, but Paul Mueller is actually gay!

  9. Chris Says:
    September 7th, 2007 at 6:26 am

How come this ‘coke-bottle-glasses’ News Director for ‘BZ gets his picture here but the lovely Diana Rocco doesn’t?

  10. hinghamwx Says:
    September 7th, 2007 at 7:02 am

Because 1. I had time and 2. it came with the press release.

If you really want one, I will put her picture up later…

Max~ Wow that is a suprise!!! Well, I do have a thing for NESN’s Jim Rice (former RedSox player)

    One word comes to mind, now that Diana’s picture is here: {{{sigh}}}

It would be odd for ch. 25 to hire newscasters based primarily on their physical appearance. Fox is all about quality and substance, not superficial stuff.

  14. Chris Says:
    September 8th, 2007 at 6:53 am

Well, Fox 25 may focus their energy on ‘looks’ for their evening newscasts, but they sure don’t for their morning show. You’ve got ‘pork boy’ VB and Dougie, who can’t figure out how to tuck his shirts in. Then again, maybe the more flattering thing is for him NOT to. Better check the weight & balance on the helicopter each time he goes up for his ‘BREAKING NEWS!’ traffic reports.

  15. Steve Says:
    September 8th, 2007 at 11:24 am

Wow– that was pretty rude commenting on his weight. He actually isn’t that fat, if you saw him on his weight loss program.
And wow she is the hottest reporter, I haven’t seen her do a report yet though

  16. Ms. Tuddy Says:

I have to ask… which news person has dentures?:)

  17. Chris Says:
    September 9th, 2007 at 7:27 am

Dentures come with age; I’d say Jack Williams or Chet Curtis. Then again, it might be ‘and’ rather than ‘or.’

  18. steve Says:
    September 24th, 2007 at 5:04 pm

I saw her on TV, that picture makes her looks a lot better than she really is.

  19. The Straight Steve Says:
    September 26th, 2007 at 1:45 am

I dont know about that Steve. I saw her the other night and I’m not sure the picture does her justice. Hartfords’ loss. Nice find, Fox25.

  20. Portia Says:
    September 26th, 2007 at 12:02 pm

She isn’t that hot in person. She’s very large on the bottom and has a much lacking personality. Her voice is rather annoying as well. She should go back to Hartford!

  21. Max Says:
    September 26th, 2007 at 4:29 pm

Err… Mike… you’re at serious risk of being sued for libel here!

  22. Max Says:
    September 26th, 2007 at 4:44 pm

    Perhaps not so much anymore.

  23. hinghamwx Says:

:) Thanks for the heads up.

  24. John Says:
    September 27th, 2007 at 11:01 am

Her personality is lacking? Do you know her pesonally? I doubt it…she is the best reporter at FOX 25- best looking and best reporter overall….Boston is lucky to have her!

  25. Bob Says:
    September 27th, 2007 at 4:28 pm

I tend to agree with John. In Hartford, she was a solid reporter and seemed to go out of her way to help with charities and her community. She is definately a up-and-comer.

  26. Paul Mueller Says:
    October 17th, 2007 at 6:32 am

Wow… I am in Seattle now and look back at some of the postings and am so glad to find out…
    How important…..
    Someone’s sexual oriention is…
especially when they deliver the news.
Maybe there should be a column where we put whether we like men or women….
    and then after that….
a column of what reporter beat matters the most to us….
Or should it be the reverse?
    Hmmmm….

Her real voice is squeaky. She changed it for the little screen. I know, I was friends with her freshman year roommate at UCONN

  28. John Says:
    April 14th, 2008 at 3:48 pm

Everyone knows people on TV alter their voice- its the job….Weird…her freshman year roomate didn’t have any friends.

  29. Thornton Says:
    April 16th, 2008 at 10:35 am

I agree – she’s horrible. You ever watch her…. she makes more mistakes then any other reporter. I don’t think her job is to alter her voice – it’s to do a good job reporting which she is not capable of.

  30. Rod Says:
    April 28th, 2008 at 11:22 pm

Squeaky? Horrible? Stop watching so much local news and take a walk outside every now and then? This girl is fantastic. It has never been her voice I noticed when she was on air. Fox should mold her into their next anchor. She is the hottest reporter in Boston, not too mention professional, classy and solid while breaking news.

  31. John Says:
    April 30th, 2008 at 1:24 pm

What do you know Thorton??? I watch her religiously on the 10 o;clock news and she is the best reporter at Fox 25….And if you know the news business, you do have to alter your voice for tv- maybe you should visit Newhouse at Syracuse- the best broadcast journalism school in the country- that’s where Diana graduated from…

  32. John Says:
    May 5th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

You really need to get your eyes checked and I’m sorry your standards are so low. Newhouse by no means is the best journalism school in the country….it’s a joke.

  33. Ethan Maas Says:

Her hair looks like a birds nest…wonder if she’s ever heard of a comb? Looks like they’ve been using her less lately which is nice.

Looks like I’m not the only one….Diana Rocco cut from the list. Couldn’t agree more, the girl looks like a stiff. She’s no beauty.

  39. Ron Says:

I watch Fox 25 and Diana is one of my favorite reporters- she is smart, knowledgeable and is a professional…..seriously those who are being critical should get a life- maybe you should try combing your hair Ethan??? Or maybe you don’t have any to comb?

  40. Santa Claus Says:
    December 23rd, 2008 at 4:48 pm

I dont watch much Fox 25 so I can’t speak for her reporting, but from everything I’ve seen – looks wouldnt be Diana Rocco’s weakness. She reminds me of a young Natalie Morales.

    http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/3080436/

I would watch more Fox 25 if I could start my mornings off with Diana Rocco at the desk.

  41. Summer Wind Says:
    December 29th, 2008 at 4:37 pm

Natalie Morales? You can’t be serious. If anything she looks more like Soledad O’Brien and that is even a stretch!

I agree, she’s terrible. See the way her elbows flap when she starts talking…looks like she might take flight. I especially love when her hair gets caught in all her makeup.

  43. Side Lines Says:
    January 6th, 2009 at 3:49 pm

This is so funny that people even write on this blog. I mean who cares? She a little reporter and would barely even call her a journalist. But I was watching fox last night and of all the reporters she looked ridiculous . Her hair was blowing all over the place and at one point covered her entire face and eyes – it wasn’t even windy. Pull it back off your face at least and act professional. It’s not a Miss Worcester contest. Why is it so hard to find good people?? Slim pickings I guess.

Poor girl doesn’t have a chance in TV. I work with her.

  45. Cronkite Says:

She was on breaking news last week with the firetruck accident and I thought she did a great job. She’s young and seems to keep getting better and more comfortable . I think she has a great future in TV and I’m happy I dont work with Townie. (doubt you’d have the junk to say that to her)
