WBZ-TV and TV 38 announced today that Jeff Kiernan has been named the new News Director for both stations.
He comes to Boston from WCCO, the CBS O & O in Minneapolis where he was ND for four years. He will begin here on Monday September 24.

They came from the Twin Cities…Ken came from KARE but Ed did come from WCCO

Oh my gosh…what’s the deal here??? This guy doesn’t look like he has a personality, unless it’s in a bottle that he can splash on hinself before he appears on camera! I’ve lived in New England all my life and never had an interest in watching the news on channel 38…so if he’s popular there,well, there you go… Regular people won’t tune in…

Mac– I don’t think you understand, he’s not going to be on the air. He is a news director, he works behind the scenes.
