Globe Story

By Michael Page | September 1, 2007

I just want to take a quick second to thank Johnny Diaz of the Boston Globe for including me and this blog in a story he published in today’s Boston Globe. The story ran on page one for those of you have the paper at home. If you wish to read the article, please click here. Thanks to you readers too, for making this a great interactive TV News Blog!

I’m glad to see people such as Cindy and Melissa Bell are putting family over career.

Our loss…but happier families in the end.

I think many of them use ‘family’ as a more ‘acceptable’ metaphor for simply leaving burning and/or sinking ships to move elsewhere…often out of the business entirely. There are several instances where the ‘family’ explanation was given, but the people turned up in altogether industries, doing different things.

Saw Natalie Jacobson on WCVB this weekend the MDA fundraising. I can’t believe how thin she is. Do you think she is a smoker? I think she has a smokers voice.
