Boston TV Leader Dies
Wednesday, July 30th, 2008Jim Thistle, a Boston TV News leader, died today at age 66. Thistle, who served as News Director at all of the major network affiliates for a time, later became the director of BU’s broadcast journalism program. He died at Beth Israel Hospital following a battle with cancer.
HD Is Coming

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008I have just been given the viewership numbers for WBZ’s 4th on 4 coverage. They did quite well, as could be expected. Edward R. Murrow Awards Announced
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008The Edward R. Murrow Awards were announced today, and one of the national winners is a Boston station. 7 News at 11 (WHDH-TV) won the national Edward R.
